Khanna met his first spouse Gitanjali in school. Khanna wedded Gitanjali in 1971 and had two children with her, Rahul and Akshaye both moved toward becoming Bollywood on-screen characters. In 1975, he turned into a supporter of the godman Osho and in the mid-1980s, moved to Rajneeshpuram Khanna and Gitanjali settled for a separation in 1985.


Political Life:-


In 1997, Khanna joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and was chosen from Gurdaspur voting demographic in Punjab in the following year’s Lok Sabha survey.
