8th June’1975- Shilpa Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka and well-trained dancer of Bharatanatyam. In the year 1992, She debuts through Baazigar opposite Shahrukh Khan in the small but important role of career. Next year, she featured in three films and first released in her career in 1994 was Aag starring Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Her career major film Main Khiladi Tu Anari was released in 1994 opposite Akshay Kumar. Later she worked in films Hathkadi, Auzaar, Dhadkan, Phir Milenge, Life in a…Metro. She faced racism controversies when part the of reality show Big Brother of London edition in 2007. She is recently active the infield of Yoga and reality show judge.

8th June’1957- Dimple Kapadia was born in Santacruz, Maharashtra and completed study from St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Mumbai. In 1973, she debuted career with film Bobby but before the release of film Bobby, she got married to Rajesh Khanna. After marriage, she left Bollywood and spent time as the housewife with Twinkle and Rinke Khanna. Her comeback film was Saagar starring Rishi Kapoor, Kamaal Hassan which was hit too also for the year 1985. She worked in films like Arjun, Allah Rakha, Ram Lakhan, Narasimha, Dil Chahta Hain, Rudaali, Gardish, Krantiveer, Dabangg, Cocktail, Patiala House. She received National Film Awards for her performance in Rudaali in 1993.

8th June’1956- Ronnie Screwvala was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and completed study from Sydenham College. Before the foundation of UTV group in 1990, he worked as cable man in the local area of Mumbai when only Doordarshan was in place. The first film which he produced under UTV production house was Dil Ke Jharoke Mein in 1997 and owned Kabbadi team U-Mumba in 2014. UTV produced films Fiza, Lakshya, Rang De Basanti, The Namesake, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Jodha Akbar, Aamir, A Wednesday, Dev-D, Fashion, Delhi-6, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, No One Killed Jessica, Rowdy Rathore, Chennai Express, Kai Po Che!.

Habib Tanvir

8th June’2009- Habib Tanvir was born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and completed M.A. degree from Aligarh Muslim University. He was very active in Bollywood as screenwriter, poet, playwriter & director. He wrote films like Rahi in 1952, Charandas Chor in 1975, Gandhi in 1982, Mangal Pandey: The Rising in 2005. He received many awards but special one was Padma Shri in 1983 by Government of India. He died on 8th June’2009 due to a long illness.

K.S.R. Das

8th June’2012- K.S.R. Das was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh and worked as a film director and editor of Tollywood cinema. He began his career in 1966 by directed film Loguttu Perumallukeruka and directed more 100 films including some of as an editor also. In 2000, he directed his last film Nagulamma. On 8th June’2012, he died at Apollo Hospital of Chennai during treatment.
